I'm going to tell you a cool story. So several years ago I fell for one of the most, like, probably well known sales pitches for insurance. 15% can save you 15% or more by switching your car insurance to Geico. So I was shopping for new car insurance at the time, decided to give it a try. Cause I was, you know, had some increases that I didn't think were justified and all that stuff. So. [00:01:02] But they were absolutely right. I got on their website, it was quick and easy, only took a few minutes. They literally cut my car insurance premium in half. [00:01:10] And so it was kind of funny after that happened, I was pretty happy because, you know, saved a few thousand dollars a year. It was awesome. And I was walking around outside doing something in the yard, my neighbor said, hey, how's it going? I said, man, I'm doing great. I just saved a ton of ton of money by switching my car insurance to Geico. [00:01:27] So then last week when I was talking to a guy, I realized we kind of do the same thing in annuity straight talk. And after a short call I realized, is 15 minutes of your time worth $100,000 in additional retirement income? I'm going to explain that. Okay. Now we've worked a lot on technological advances on the website and I want to be in arguably the best annuity website available. And a lot of people, as we developed calculators and this and that, people have emailed and say so and so has this and you don't have that and whatever. So we're going to get all that and more. [00:02:03] And that's kind of the last episode before the 4th of July, don't like to produce. Then everybody's with family. But the idea was to create something in certain things that nobody else has. And the whole idea is to make it as easy as possible for you guys to find the right Deal and everything you need to verify that it is the best. [00:02:25] So the investment of time and money on my part shows a commitment to helping people that most don't realize. When you're just starting this search, you're going to be able to look far and wide and you're going to always come home to this and realize you can find it right here. [00:02:41] So hundreds of people use the income calculators every month and in the past year since we started those, I've only sold one annuity from it. Okay. Advisors and consumers alike have found value in what it is provided here. [00:02:57] Now I do need to eventually sell annuities to make it worthwhile, but that's, that's my problem, it's not yours. Okay, so there are lots of ways to quantify the best deal. I have a software app that shows how an annuity benefits a total portfolio and the quote engines to find the best income deal for your situation. No matter what, nationwide, you're not going to find any better. [00:03:22] So I wanted to use the software app as a way for people to first look and see, hey, does it make sense to buy an annuity? And yeah, we want the guarantee, we want this, but we don't want to give up too much money. We want a legacy, we want portfolio growth. [00:03:38] How can those two things mold together and what's the trade off for doing so? That's what the software app does. So now if it's, it could be only a sim, as simple as a higher payment and a better company or a larger portfolio over time. [00:03:54] We're here to analyze a new an annuity, but there is nowhere else you can get this level of detail from products to analysis to strategy. All right, here. I take it for granted at times because I've been doing it for so long. But I really hope you realize the benefit that this provides. So last week I met with a gentleman who, he just asked me and a lot of people do this to verify whether he had the best products. Hey, what do you think of this plan kind of deal? So he had a really good long term relationship with his current advisor. I don't ever want to get in the way of that, but if I can help either one of them or both of them, I'm okay with that. [00:04:30] He was looking for guaranteed lifetime income and he told me briefly about his situation. [00:04:35] It was easy to see that an annuity would be appropriate for his retirement. He would probably enjoy the benefits. [00:04:40] So the quote he received was $35,000 per year joint life income for him and his Wife for the rest of their lives. [00:04:49] Now, depending on, there's some years of deferral and their ages are, you know, consistent or important in deciding what that is. [00:04:58] So everybody's going to be different. But I knew the recommended company that he'd been given hadn't really been on the top of income quotes. Because I stay on top of this thing. Again, I know what's going on. Good, because I watch it all the time. And I'm giving you the tools so that you know what's good all the time. It hadn't been on top of the income quotes for a while. So we went straight to the calculator, the GLWB calculator, to verify the numbers. In just a few minutes, we saw a quote with the same parameters exactly. Start date, deferral period, ages, joint life, 40,500 per year annually. [00:05:33] The first quote came from an A rated company. And the higher quote came from an A plus company. More money from an stronger insurance company. So he won on both sides of it. Now, we got to this point where he said kind of aha, where I got a situation. I ran the numbers and you could see kind of a sigh of relief. Okay, right. Hey, just go tell this guy that you're friends with. Go. Go get this company. He's fine. The guy can do it. I know everybody can. Okay. But I looked at the clock. It had been 14 minutes since the call started. [00:06:03] Years of my time spent producing something that makes it so easy for people. [00:06:09] That's when it hit home for me because it makes my work easier as well. It's just like when I saved a ton of money on car insurance. The engine was there. I found it, I used it. It took a few minutes. That's it. So had he not made the appointment, he would have been just fine, but would have left a lot of money on the table. $5,000. $5,500 per year is a nice piece of change. We can all think of things to do with that. A vacation, a car payment, whatever you want to do that's extra that he got. [00:06:37] Okay. [00:06:38] You can't tell me that's not a good deal. And he didn't even need me. As long as he knows where to find the calculators, you don't have to make an appointment. Okay. [00:06:46] It does take an agent to explain all the features and provide service throughout the term of the deal, but you can get 90% of the way there with no sales pressure. [00:06:55] I'm pretty confident the vast majority of people buying annuities do not get the absolute best deal for everything that they want. [00:07:04] This is available, so you should use it. [00:07:06] Now, assuming he collects payments for 20 years, that adds up to well over $100,000 a year in retirement. Retirement that he was able to get by scheduling an appointment where we could uncover that truth in just 14 minutes. [00:07:21] Now that might be my new mantra. 14 minutes can make you $100,000 or more in retirement income. [00:07:27] It has a nice ring to it. I can also tell you that if you have your numbers ready when we talk, we can do it even faster than that. [00:07:35] A lot of people spend a lot of time wondering whether what I show them is the best deal. I'm not saying that you shouldn't take your time with this, but understand that you'll get the best of the best right here in Western Montana. Look behind me. It's gorgeous, right?
